Collection: Belfast Cranes - Silver Jewellery

Our Belfast crane silver jewellery allows you to wear your memories with you every day, be you a tourist, a local or just a fan of our lovely cranes.

Whether you’re flying into George Best Belfast City Airport, arriving by ferry or driving along the motorway, you know you’re in Belfast when you see ‘Samson and Goliath’!

The industrial behemoths that have towered over Belfast for decades honouring that tradition of craftsmanship and industrial heritage that Belfast is famous for.

The towering twin structures are regarded as Northern Ireland’s very own wonders of the world and the gantry cranes are an instantly-recognised symbol of NI.

The Harland and Wolff shipyard was founded in 1861 by Edward James Harland and Gustav Wilhelm Wolff. At its height, Harland and Wolff in Belfast became one of the biggest shipbuilders in the world and the yard still contains one of the world's largest dry docks.

The firm constructed over 70 ships for the White Star Line, including The Titanic.  The cranes were designed by Krupp Ardelt. The first, Goliath, was completed in July 1969 and the second, Samson, was completed in May 1974.

These two yellow icons were always the first things to let Ruth know she was home when she flew in from around the world, so they are very personal to her and were in fact, the first pieces of jewellery she ever made.
